Pool Riverside Park is a charity run by volunteers for the benefit of the local community.  The land was generously given to the residents of Pool by the Whiteley family, and the management committee seeks to maintain it in as good a state as possible.  This involves considerable annual expense for such tasks as grass cutting, trimming shrubs and trees, repair of paths, litter removal, emptying of ‘dog’ bins etc.

However, opportunities for earning income to pay for these tasks is limited.  If you would like to help us keep up with this work for future generations,  we are always grateful for donations.  Alternatively, please remember us in your will (either through a bequest, or through the leaving collection at your funeral).  Pool-in-Wharfedale Recreation Ground Trust, Pool Village Memorial Hall, Arthington Lane, Pool-in-Wharfedale LS21 1JZ (charity number 512427).  Thank you.
