With more people choosing to eat breakfast outside of the home, The Local Pantry is launching the ‘Early Bird Breakfast’ service following its change to early morning opening from 8am. To celebrate the launch, customers can now enjoy a free tea or coffee with any item purchased from the breakfast or brunch menu served in the café, or bought to takeaway, between 8 am and 9 am Monday to Friday.
The launch comes in response to a rise in customers popping into the shop for hot breakfast sandwiches on their way to work, plus an increasing change in the nation’s breakfast habits with more people choosing to breakfast out rather than at home.
The Peach Report recently published figures from Mitchells & Butlers. The company says it sold around six million breakfasts across the whole of 2014—but if the current rate continues the figure will be just short of 12 million. Research by Mitchells & Butlers suggests that more than a third of British consumers eat out for breakfast more than once a month, with the full English breakfast still the most popular option.
The ‘Early Bird Breakfast’ offer of a free tea or coffee is available on all breakfast and brunch menu items for both eat in or takeaway options.
