Residents in Pool in Wharfedale will have received a notice and a request to complete a form should they wish to support a Cold Calling Control Zone. These forms to be returned within two weeks.
Honorary Citizen 2014 for Pool in Wharfedale
Congratulations to this year’s Honorary Citizen, Peter Wilkinson. Peter will receive the Award at the Annual Civic Service at Pool Methodist Church on Sunday 5 October 2014.

Service 923 (Otley – Pool – Arthington – Harewood – East Keswick –
Scarcroft – Collingham – Wetherby – Boston Spa – Thorp Arch – Tadcaster)
You will be pleased to hear that Service 923 will operate to an unchanged timetable from the end of the current contract (25th October 2014) following a successful tendering exercise resulting in North Yorkshire County Council agreeing to continue to part fund the service until July 2016. The service will continue to be operated by Connexions Buses.

Leeds City Council Core Strategy – Inspectors Report

The City Council has received the Inspectors Report into the Examination of the Core Strategy, on the 5th September. The report concludes that Leeds City Council Core Strategy is sound and provides an appropriate basis for the planning of the City and district up to 2028 providing a number of modifications are made to the Plan.
