The History of Pool Group will be holding it’s first meeting of the New Year on TUESDAY 5th FEBRUARY at WHARFEDALE COURT from 7-30pm till 9pm.The meeting will reflect upon the following topic:-FROM THE PAST TO THE PRESENT:- A SELECTION OF MEMORIES AND IMPRESSIONS OF POOL. It will also contain updates from Pool Archives, as well as make plans for the years meetings.The yearly subscriptions will also be collected and refreshments will be available.( Yearly subscription £5,or £1-50 per meeting.) Every one is welcome

At 2.15pm in the village hall, a talk on the Birds of the Washburn Valley by experienced ornithologist, Peter Riley, President of the Wharfedale Naturalists Society.
